It's Just How We Do Things 'Round Here.   

So we're kind of a neighborhood bar--except that our folks come from a lot of different neighborhoods. And we're definitely a downtown bar, but kind of off the beaten path. We have a whole lot of fun, get a little silly sometimes, and you just never know who will hop up to lend a hand with whatever needs doing. 

I guess it's just how we do things 'round here.

We think that gesture means "hang loose."	Whereas the message in this gesture is clearly something more hostile.
